Education
The path to informed advocacy starts with education.

The In-Sight Collaborative team is dedicated to convening some of the best educational resources available in one place where learners of all educational levels can access new information to expand their horizons. Scroll through our education page for talks, courses, articles, and books that will help shape the way you think about global health, humanitarian aid, and advocacy.

In-Sight Collaborative is an online networking space that explores the most effective, evidence-based accompaniment models through partnerships with those most intimately involved in current global challenges, beginning with forced displacement.

We believe in the power of storytelling, community, and education.

According to the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR), there are currently 70.8 million forcibly displaced people around the world.

As it stands, the aid system often creates dependency by minimizing the autonomy and self-recovery of displaced people.

Because of a variety of geopolitical, logistical, and socioeconomic issues, the aid system is geared more towards reactive, rather than proactive, remedies of humanitarian situations. While immediate aid is a vital part of the international humanitarian effort, there is little focus upon the empowerment of displaced people and preserving or promoting their autonomy in the long term.
