About
This module invites us to pause, reflect, and reimagine. Too often, systems like education and caregiving are built around the idea that children must be shaped, controlled, or “fixed” to become the ideal adult — one that fits into a narrow vision of success rooted in colonialism, capitalism, and adult supremacy. This module challenges that mindset by centering the wisdom, agency, and wholeness of children as they are, right now. This module is for youth workers, educators, caregivers, activists, and community organizers who are committed to social justice and want to challenge systems of adult supremacy in their work with children and young people. This module is also for people exploring decolonial practice, who want to build more trusting, joyful, and liberatory relationships across generations. Whether you are working in a classroom, organizing in your community, parenting, or simply questioning how we’ve been taught to treat young people, this module invites you to reconnect with your own inner child and imagine new possibilities together.
